1/2 cupGreek yogurtcan also use 1/4 cup mayo + 1/4 cup sour cream
3tbsplime juice
1/2tspchili powder
1/2tspground cumin
1/2tsponion powder
1/2 tspgarlic powder
1/8tspred pepper flakesoptional
1/8tspEACH coarse salt and black pepper
1/2cupcotija cheeseSee Note 1
Instructions
Combine: All all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk to combine. Taste, and season with more salt if needed.
Enjoy or store: Use right away or store in an airtight container or small mason jar in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Notes
Note 1: If you plan to use this as a salad dressing (such as in this elote pasta salad), you can choose to sprinkle the cojita cheese over the top of the salad OR stir it into the dressing (or both!) If you plan to use this as a sauce for tacos or burritos, add the cotija cheese directly to the dressing/sauce.
